What the GDC Looks For

You will usually need:

  • Final degree certificate

  • Full academic transcripts

  • Proof of identity

  • Certificate of good standing

  • Confirmation of English language instruction

To practise dentistry in the UK, all dentists must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).

Graduates from English-taught dentistry programmes in Bulgaria are currently eligible to apply, subject to standard checks.
